I have a (really) small leak in my PS pump. Every time I check it is fine, I did had to add a little bit. But for the past few days I feel like I have been driving my old CRX with no PS pump. The tires are inflated properly and the fluid is topped off accordingly. Any thoughts?

Mine's been leaking for awhile now, and it's always full every time I check the reservior. My steering response is the same as when i bought the car. Although, during cold temperatures..I mean in the teens....my steering is hard as a rock. But as soon as the car warms up and fluids flowing, it's back to normal.

And i've been running around for quite awhile now, around 6+ months??

I don't know if it's clogged anywhere. If theres a way I could find out that would be great.

the only real way to unclog a line is to flush the system with seafoam or a flush kit. involves a bit of atf. it not common, rare for the lines to clog, usally make the pump to make some noise. usally failed pump will whine or make noise. but some times the teflon seal blow out. other than that the seals in the rack can fail. but you usally get leaks with that. its hard to say over the internet

Well I have 2 extra pumps and 2 racks. I REALLY don't want to swap out racks at the moment. I'll mess with it tomorrow when I get a chance.
