Heh...I was linked here by a good mate that tells me there's a whole host of useful information, and I had considered not joining for reasons along the line of being an 'Impreza driver'...

...then I proceeded to beat my thick skull against my desk.

I completely, COMPLETELY forgot about my darling Frankie!!

Err yes. So I'm an Impreza driver - a 1998 HX20s dressed to kill, indulging in a tonne of N/A tuning in the not-so-distant future. I've named my baby 'Shale', hence my username...he's Blue Steel :)

And in the process of being so used to being 'that Impreza driver'...I totally forgot about my poor, neglected 1990 Legacy GT-Ltd wagon sitting on the lawn! :smt011 Her name is Frankenleggy - for being the hybrid of two dead GTs, and constantly in pieces. :smt019 If I have my way over fate, there'll be a new gearbox crossmember arriving soon, and the gearbox and engine will be going back in! Mmmmm, leather seats...

So yes. I join you as not just an N/A tuning hopeful, but an old-school turbo Leggy wagon driver. :D

Oh gosh, she's followed me here too! :smt005

For those that don't know "Shale" got a lot of attention over on the NZ boards...mainly because of the insistence of staying NA in a boosted world.

I got the same flack, but I finished my car. ;O

Lol I followed Roobs actually, but you can take the glory if you want :D

Yeah you know what - suddenly I actually have the cash to work on BOTH cars now that it's me, myself and I...what does that say, lol. After I'm back from May's Japan trip and after the grey one is back from the dang panelbeaters (got hit by a truck while stationary) there should, for the first time in 3 years, be some progress. GASPSHOCKHORROR. Two of the guys have the parts I need for half the conversion, within budget...

And I can do the project I want without someone else confusing the snot outta me and changing the plan on me... :-?

[/rant]

I'd be pretty keen to see what your car's up to now it's finished, Huffer :P

My car's tootling around Botany Downs and Manakau. My dad drives it to work and back. He likes to wake up the neighbours too.
