why would you do that?! just get the sti ones they bolt up without a braket, all u need is pads, rotors, lines, and then the calipers, that would be the easiest way to go!!!

^ cost, evo calipers are much cheaper. its been done (to imprezas) it required machining off some of the caliper as well as some other work to get them on tho. ill try to find the link later.

But doesn't machining them add to the cost of the calipers too? Or is it a minor amount of work to be cheap enough that it balances out as a bargain still?

Just wanted to know.

I love the look of the red brembo's as opposed to the gold.
P.S. is there a DIY for the brembo install, i have looked through the forums but can't find it
98 LGT w/ 03 wrx swap and JDM tranny.

Probably not remarkably helpful to you but I'm doing an STi brembo swap on the GC8 later in the year - have the calipers, lack everything else (as the 6MT is going in too). It looks to be a direct swap with all the lego pieces...the ENTIRE drivetrain including the rear diff and rear hubs...but you're right, more expensive.

The swap will be documented!
