First of all, thanks to MYSTi for introducing me to this community. Very happy to see a Legacy specific forum.
Well something about me.
I'm originally from India and doing my MBA at St. Marys University in Halifax.
At one point of time, have sold cars, repaired motorcyles, installed car audio for earning pocket money. Love automobiles, motorcycles and quality audio systems to the core.
I came to Canada last october. Got terrified seeing the snow and decided that AWD was the only way to go
Hence ended up picking up a 2002 Legacy L sedan that was 60k kms (37500miles) run and used by a senior citizen couple.
Took it dealer for routine service and they diagnozed a weeping left gasket and engine making too much clatter (more than the usual one that I read on the forums).
Called up Subaru of Canada, made a hue and cry over the issue and Subaru rebuilt the complete engine under warranty even though my car was many years out of it.
I am a Subaru customer for life. Fantastic response.
Bad luck, however continues. Crashed it last night, during the "gentle run in" period
