trying to bleed the brakes on my new 97L...

don't have a 1/2" drive socket set so tried to use my 3/8" craftsman ratchet (i know i know)... to break the lug nuts. slide a pipe over the ratchet handle and got off drivers side front no problem...

get to second bolt on passenger side front and break the crapsman ratchet.. bring it to sears and they tell me they'll rebuild it for me and have it by the morning.

then use my 1/2" drive breaker bar with an 1/2" to 3/8" adapter... i'm standing on the breaker bar trying to loosen the lug nut and then break the adapter... well its a craftsman adapter.. so i guess i'll be getting another one.

goddamn it. :smt021

Why didn't you buy a 1/2 drive socket while you were dropping off the crappy ratchet?

Why didn't you buy a 1/2 drive socket while you were dropping off the crappy ratchet?

because i already ordered 1/2" set online and am still waiting for it

but i finally got it off.. i totally forgot about the lug nut wrench that comes with the car... that and a 2 foot cheater finally got it off. i had to use my floor jack to get enough torque on one of the lug nuts.. it started to lift the car up before it finally broke loose...
