1996-1997 Legacy Clutch Different?

I have a 1997 LGT 5speed but was wondering if there is a difference between the 2.5 clutch in 1996 or 98 then the one in 97?

If it's a 2.5 I'm pretty sure it should be the same 97-99

I believe 96 was the last year of the cable clutch.
