Switching DRLs?

Well I did the JDM projector light conversion on my BK and added HID's into the low beam projectors. I want to change my DRL's so they use the highbeams instead. Any way I can do this?

Not the smartest idea because DRL is daytime lights - if you are driving around with your hibeams on all day you're going to find yourself subject to some road rage.

Subaru's are the first cars i've seen that have the low beams as DRL's. Most cars use the high beams at half the voltage.

this would need to be done at the DRL unit connection, find the switched ground for the low beam coming out of that box, hook up the hi-beam to that.

Hmm ok I think I know where it is. Has anyone done this before? Is there a write-up I could look at?
