Alright well i am planning to make a set of EL headers. i was wondering if anyone had any pics of theirs as well as what size the primaries and secondaries are. I looked up the set that a guy made off or RS25.com and he used 1 3/4" for the secondaries and 2 1/4" for the primaries.

Also second thing i made a 3 inch from the cat back pipe last summer in late September. I know this is too big for naturally aspirated but i was planning or running a turbo this summer but summer school damn calc 3 and the awesome economy have put a small damper on those plans for a bit. my question is there any way to regain the back pressure that i lost to regain the low end power without making a new pipe cause its really hurting now for low end power. Its a 95 BK SOHC with a auto so it didn't have any low end power to start really. Ive seen on jegs and summit racing a venturi device and a thing that looks like baffles made by car chemisrty i was wondering if anyone had used these and if so so they work.
Also im replacing the cat with another unit i though about a high flow but now im thinking about a normal universal to get power back.

thanks

theres two options for EL, 4-1 or 4-2-1. sizing depend on type and also can have different sizing.
4-1
1)1.5-1.625 tubes to 2.25 or 2.5 collector
2)1.75 tubes to 2.5 collector
4-2-1
1)1.5-1.625 primary to 2 or 2.25 to 2.25 or 2.5 collector
2)1.75 primary to 2.25 or 2.5 to 2.5 collector
and the 3inch exhaust. why would you make EL n/a headers if you plan on boosting. make a 2.25 inch exhaust cat back
personally for you 2.2 i would only use (4-1) 1.5 tube to 2.25 collector or (4-2-1) 1.5 to 2.25 to 2.25 collector.
plus 4-1 dont work well with auto. would need to be custom to avoid the tranny

thanks im planing or building a set all custom i work in a machine shop but im making headers so that when i do make a set for when i turbo it then ill have a idea what im doing. Ive learned the no matter how much planning you do just going ahead and doing it once will give you a much better idea of what to expect for the job. Also im hoping to swap the tranny fro a manual soon. From the ideas i had the idea of 2 secondaries that merged to a collector was what i was planning to do from the beginning the only thing i have a problem with is that the exaust is ofset to one side of the car that means that in order to get equal lenght that im going to need to eat up some pipe on the drivers side so that the two are teh same lenght or is it better to merger behind the oilpan into the collector?
