Got a '95 Legacy L. Lookin' to upgrade to a sleek, yet more aggressive gt body style. Anybody know of any good websites for the bumpers and side skirts? And what years would be a straight swap for this '95?

for the gt front bumber you need the gt bumber beam. for the side skirts you need to drill holes for the clips. same for the rear lip
so you need:
gt front bumber w/ beam
sideskirts and clips
rear lip (there sedan or wagon specific)and clips. works with stock bumber
96-99 is all the same

Got a question?
im thinking about this... What exactly is the bumper beam?
you talking about the metal bumper frame thing under the bumper and foam thing.

sorry if i sound like a noob...cars arent my big thing...tech is...
i just like my cars look nice and personalized to my standards...

yes the beam is the support the bumber skin attaches to.

:smt018 I have a 96 GT front lip and used to own a 96 GT as well. On the 96's the lip comes off and is a different design.

My 96 front lip:

For 98 + up you'll need the bumper beam, due to differences in the design. The 98 has a dip just under the grill, hence why you'd need the bumper beam AND the grill off that M/Y as well.

A pic of HellaGT's front to see the "dip" we're talking about:

JDMLegacy had the same issue with her swap. Read the 1st page (or more) of her MR1 thread here:

viewtopic.php?f=6&t=11757 (https://sl-i.net/FORUM/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=11757)

She had hers cut at 1st, then realized the difference with the grills.

G/L, I hope this helps.

2 more ?

does that bumper beam just unbolt and then you bolt up the new one?

i realize you need a new grill with it...are the headlights the same?

Yes and yes.
Do a search here, and you'll find some people that have done these swaps. I've got alot of GT influences on my L as well.
