I don't think that worked quite as well as you hoped. It opens to the hosting site.....and thats it.
Try again.

Sounding better already!!!
couldn't help but laugh, eh? Its catchy.....soon that won't make you laugh as hard, and you'll need more power and more noise to make you laugh.
Glad you are enjoying it!
Keep it up....we need more older subie generation owners like you modding!!

thanks for the compliment! i can't wait to hear her tomorrow :-)
yeah, i couldn't help but expel that mad scientist chuckle   i agree with you though, pretty soon i'm going to be satisfied with the current mod and want more....heck, i've already got a to-do list with this car!
you can mod older subies, it just takes a little more imagination and knowing what part from another suby will fit... :-)

ha, thanks
got her back today...she's purrs...very smooth sounding and there isn't any real barking when you rev it up...performance wise, eh...i dont' have an intake yet so that's restricting what can be pushed out, but i hope to notice something when i get an intake on it. i also haven't really gotten on it yet either, so i dont' know. i'm up in the air about it.

Oh man, theres nothing like that boxer purr. Sounds great!! Youre gonna have to revv that up for me at one of the meets this summer!
As far as old-school legacy's getting modded...if you look elsewhere in the world thats all they mod, check out www.uklegacy.com (http://www.uklegacy.com) to see a couple good ones from our friends over the pond. Some of the NZ guys we had on the site had some crazy BC's as well. Bella - if you ever need some inspiration look overseas and you'll find more than enough to giggle at. Good job!!!

I remember adding just a DTM to my 91 FWD, and boy.. that was one sweet sounding ride! All my friends liked it! (Stock exhaust, too!)
There's nothing better than the boxer burble..
Got a thread on my forum with a couple of little clips of mine so you can see how she sounds. Pity I wasn't ragging it driving away from the camera as that would have sounded way better but I don't think it sounds too bad - what do you guys reckon?

My legacy sounded like that when I gutted the cat. It wasn't a priority to get it finished and put back togehter so it sat on jackstands in my driveway......until the first hurricane was knocking on my door. I fired up the legacy and man let me tell you, she was super loud. All my neighbors came out of their house wondering what the noise was.
Hey Bella what did you pay for that header and the pipe to attach it to the rest of the exhaust. Did you have to weld in a bung for the O2 Sensor?

jim - i'll have to check out that clip when i get home...what year is yours?
deadleg - i removed the old exhaust system and installed just the header myself. then i ran it over to a shop that custom made the rest of my piping and hung everything for $160 (included misc. parts, labor, piping material)...yes, an o2 bung needs to be welded in. there isn't a port on the header...
i have pix up on my cardomain page if you want to check them out...
It's an 89 JDM RS. The system is a full decat 3" bore straight through from the turbo so no real silencers. :D
