Hey fellas,

I'm wanting to install a set of GT side skirts (BE/BH) onto my 00' L. How exactly do I go about doing this? To my understanding, there are holes that need to be drilled and clips that need to be put into place. Drilling the holes doesn't bother me, it's just that when I look at a few diagrams on parts websites, I'm finding a whole bunch of other parts that have to do with the side skirts and I'm not sure if I need them or not.

I've found the following diagram on my local dealers website. I'm pretty sure I need the end cover (#6), but what is the protector (#2)? Is this something I already have? When I look under the car, I do see a number of clips already in place, so I'm assuming that I do not need #5, possibly #3 either.

1 - Rocker Moulding
2 - Protector
3 - Clip Type 1 Back
4 - Clip Type 2 Back
5 - Clip Type 3 Back
6 - End Cover
7 - Clip Clip Back

If a BE/BH GT owner could possibly take a pic of how their side skirt is attached, that'd help me out a ton. Any and all other help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Kyle

im guessing the protctor might be a foam strip to protect you paint from getting scratched by the skirt

Yeah, that sounds about right. I'm guessing it just attaches with some 3M adhesive or something along those lines.

Hopefully there's a GT at the junkyard I'm going to that I can steal one off of. If not, looks like I'm gonna have to stick with the dealer prices again...
