I've seen em for the 05+ Legacy, and they look pretty nice, but has anyone seen engine bay coverings for the 2nd generation Legacy?
Here is an example of the 05 with engine covers (besides the stock middle one, obviously):

Got any sites?

Sorry but I thinks it shame that manufacturers cover up all that lovely looking engineering with some cheap plastic, personally I'd rather see the real engine in all its beauty.

well, I agree, but my engine bay isn't all that pretty, and I've worked for hours on it, and I still can't get it looking nice (IMO) enough to show anyone. So I'm kinda taking the easy way out ;)

one big reason the mfrs do it to to discourage "tempering". amazing how a flimsy piece of plastic can get in teh way for most consumers.

Mark besides just cleaning everything, you should take parts off and paint them right. I did it to my olds mobil and the engine bay looked better than most newer cars. If I keep my CRX I will do the same thing to it in spring. It can be done, it just might take a long time/

yeah, and I've already done that with a few things (belt covers, manifold cover, fuse box, intake box) but stuff like the power steering resirvoir and the alternator would be awfully hard to paint, and the power steering (especially) is an eyesore....
I've also got wire loom that I bought, but haven't put on yet...
