I bouyght this wing for my gc impreza. I ended up getting rid of the car and got my 97 LGT. I am planning on repainting the car. I have the following parts to install on it. Greddy front lip, jdm aeroguards, jdm front grill, jdm tails, jdm clear side markers, jdm power folding mirrors, and a set of 17" konig wheels that are painted gold. I am also redoing the window tint darker and will be lowering the car. the new paint will be silver with rally graphics air brushed in blue pearl. I can't decide if I want to keep the stock wing or go with the zero sports one. What do you guys think?

this is a photoshopped pic with the wing.

your car isnt ready for that wing. untill you get some aggresive wheels and lower the car.. but for now if ou threw that on your car it would be rice.

I already have the wheels. I need to get some suspension yet but it will be getting lowered soon.

sorry, but that doesn't flow with the car. You're going to have to go far beyond wheels and lowering it...

It will also have the Greddy lip, jdm aero guards, jdm mirrors, jdm grill, and jdm lights. I've looked for different wings for the legacy but haven't been able to find anything. does anyone know of any aftermarket options for my car that aren't ricey?

Have you tried looking for a Impreza RS tall spoiler?

I've just tried looking for my year, model specific. the zero sports wing is meant for a 93-01 impreza coupe or sedan. what year impreza wings will fit best?

OR you could go wingless!

You would need flared fenders to balance that wing out visually.

The car is going to be my daily driver. I also plan on taking it to shows to show off the work I do. It will be getting a custom fiberglass enclosure in the trunk. possibly fiber glassed door panels w/custom enclosures in them. I want the car to be custom but a nice clean look. nothing too off the wall. thats why I plan on doing the graphics in a blue pearl so they really don't stand out unless you are really looking. I also have an ej20 sitting at home that I am debating whethter or not to use.

Sorry dude that wind does not go well with your car. I would go wingless or just keep the stock one. But that is just me. It's your car and you can do what ever you like.

I have to agree, nix the wing. I think one of those flat lip spoilers such as the one on Dodik's ride would look sick. It would be unique without screaming carbohydrates.

I love that look. Sleek and unique.

remember you own a legacy. not a civic. respect that. swap it , throw some coilovers on it, throw some wheels on it... legacy's dont look good riced out. ive seen one to many of them. dont add yours to that list.

The last thing I want to do is rice it out. I've owned civics in the past. I would rather have something a little more mature. Thats why I was looking to get other peoples opinion on this. I kinda like it alittle bit but then again I thinbk it is a little to much wing. I want the car to look respectable. I install audio, video, and security systems in cars. When the company I work for sets up a stand at shows I want to have something to show off. It is going to have a hell of a sound system in it. I plan on doing alot of work to the car. I don't want it to be anywhere near being classed w/ civic ricers. I want to swap it, but I don't want to go from a 2.5 to a 2.0. I may replace my block internals w/ STI internals then use the the heads and everything else off of the ej20.

why wouldnt you want to go from a EJ25D non turbo to a EJ207/5/G turboed and double your HP?? if your going to do audio i say keep it suttle. not to flashy. like no fiberglas enclosure unless you wanna me clean about it and cover them in carpet to match the car. it just doesnt fit with alot of shiny things on the inside of a legacy.

I'd rather have a 2.5 turbo than a 2.0 turbo. as far as the system, one of our distributors is going to hook us up with a bunch of free product so it will probably be crazy but it will be clean.

good luck swapping in a 2.5 turbo. STi motors sell for alot and 06-07 wrx motors have a immobilizer setup. if you ask me its easier to get a EM and turbo your factory motor.

that is basically what I am planning. From what I have researched stock sti rods and pistons fit in the block that is in my car. then I am thinking about using the ej20 heads, intake manifold, exhuast manifold, turbo, all the lines, ect. then using a stand alone ems. pretty much using the ej20 just replacing the block with my n/a 2.5 block w/ sti internals.

please dont put that on your car, if you want it to be more unique you better off fabricating risers for your stock spoiler or totally something unique or going wingless or a small lip spoiler. legacy body lines dont really support lines of that spoiler, sti one looks even better but also screams rice unless you've got hp, suspension, rest of the car to back it up. Just my opinion.

On the other note wow my cell phone takes pretty decent pictures and i cant believe some actually used it. lol

Rofl. I think it looks sick in that picture dodik. Looks like a tank with those rims, and the little Army insignia just sells it even more. :smt016
