Who makes intakes for the BD? I have a weapon intake right now and it sucks (not air). I was looking at K&N but couldn't find anything on their website. Any suggestions?

The Impreza intakes are a loose fit, and I believe WeaponR makes one specifically for the legacy...it would really be best to go back to stock airbox though, and de-snork it, unless you're boosting it???

I would have to agree... personally, this is the route I would take (did take).

i have a weapon-r but i put an extension on it recently into the fender using exhaust ducting from home depot. effectively making it a cold air intake.

I dont really know what you mean by snorkus delete... This is what I did, I took of my aftermarket intake and put the stock one back on, instead of using the filter box and all that stuff I just put my aftermarket filter on the MAF, is that was you guys mean?

no, the filter box stays, the piping that goes before the filter box (before as in terms of airflow into the engine) that's in your fender is called the snorkus (its a harmonic silencer) and we like to remove it to give a more beastly sound and draw some colder air. There's a lot of posts on this.
