2004 Forrester XT exhaust on 1995 BK??

My friend just put a after market exhaust on his XT and gave me the stock cat back (2.5"??) with a big ass stock muffler. Anyone ever fit Forrester exhaust parts to a lego? Seems visually to be really close, might have to move/ extend hangers.......pics to follow.

Forester is on basically an Impreza chassis, so its probably too short. And its probably more like 2 1/4". Good for a 2.2.

Pretty sure I know someone who took the exhaust off his old STI and put it on his FXT.
