Anyone have a rough idea how much it would be to get the right front subframe replaced on a subaru? A friend of mine came over to put a car on the hoist that he was looking at purchasing and I found that the subframe that supports the right front A arm, etc. was rusted straight through. It was weird because everything else was spotless.

the front control arm pickup points bolt to the engine crossmember. I don't think you can just replace one side, need to take out the whole crossmember.

It was a 02 RS if it makes a difference. I know, Iknow. This isn't subaru impreza international but I wasn't sure where to post it.

need the whole front crossmember. you can look for them use from people that do turbo swap. selling there stock crossmember or buy it new for $276-344

they all use the same crossmember. Eh, I shouldve kept mine I guess if someone wouldve ended up needing it. I think ECS just scrapped mine when they swapped my car. N/A crossmembers are plentiful, you can pick one up from various places for around $100...
