Hey everyone.

I'm an old-schooler from Legacy Central. Saw this site in Wicon_Mark's sig over there, and checked it out. Then I saw XNTRCK75's car, and recognized it from the shop I work at.

I've got a few Subaru's, 3 to be exact.

My Boost-Mobile, is my 94 SS. It's.... not stock by any means. I recently retired it from daily driving status, and it will be totally renovated. Last time on the Dyno, it made 214whp@5200RPM, and 251lb-ft @ 3200. I've done some mods since then, and expect roughly 230whp and 270lb-ft. Nothing to crazy for now.

I recently blew the tranny in it, and I'll be building a dog-box to drop into it shortly.

My daily driver is my 98 Forester S. 5MT. It's all leather'd out, and it's actually pretty nice. Slow enough for me to not want to mod it. Quick enough for me to not want to kill myself for driving it.

Anyway, I'm here!

I'm 20. Work at a shop, Andrewtech Automotive (www.GearboxTech.com (http://www.GearboxTech.com)). I like long walks on the beach, and romantic candle lit dinners.... wait.

I was skeptical of the site at first, but realized it's not a tiny 2-forum board once I registered. Plus, I saw that Matt is a member (Legacy92EJ22T), and he's my boy so I had to sign up. My car is actually in his signature picture :)

Take care all.

Phil

Welcome!
Seems like you're already contributing, and hard!

Good to have more members of the technical caliber here. Helps us theorists out!

damn, I'm glad you signed up Phil :D

You're the man, I hope you stick around.

Down the road, you're gonna be one of the people I'm going to be going to for questions, when I get some cash and do stuff with my car :D

What shop do you work at? I am currently doing a subaru engine swap and am looking for a good shop, and after seeing xcntrks car, I am interested in checking that place out! You should make it down to an ECB meet, we meet in Fairfax. Check the link in my sig if your interested

I work at Andrewtech Automotive.

Sheepdog - you know a guy named Ed O'donnel? Drives an 04 WRX Wagon and runs snow tires all year round? (license plate = SPASTIK)

Or possibly know a guy named James Low. Also drives an 04 WRX Wagon with Falken rims a 2.5 block, and makes 350whp/350lb-ft? (license plate = LAGWAGN)

Both of those guys are regulars at our shop, and live in NOVA.

Check my "www" tag for our shop site. Or better yet, come to some of the Mid-A meets ;).

There is a LOT I don't know. I learn new shit from my boss every day. I'm getting there, but there is a ton I wish I understood a little better. Automotive electricity is one, for sure.

I sure do wish that my car looked as nice as some of the ones I have seen here! I seem to have neglected the "show" part of my "go" venture.

Thanks for the warm welcome! I'll do my best to contribute well to the community!

I think i've seen those guys around, I dont know them personally though.

Do you know a guy named Robby? his 02 wrx was just up at your shop getting straight cut 3rd and 4th gears. I might have to come talk to you guys about a project I have thats starting up....

Hmmm, not familiar with a Robby. I might if you could describe the car. We see LOTS of blown trannys :).

Its a blue 02 wrx, had straight cut 1st and 2nd, blew 3rd the week he had it back, so it sat at your shop for a good long time while he saved up money to pay for the work. It has black rota wheels on it, a VF39 turbo, and various other stuff. Outside, doesnt stand out in a crowd. On the highway runs we do after ECB, it does
