Serious help needed for 99 legacy B4

I just bought a 99 legacy B4 & after 2 weeks some little bastards tried to break into it! Ive a new steering lock & all the others on the way but my mechanic cant find the the window visor or wind deflector the feckers snapped off the passenger door & i havent a clue where or how to even start getting one! Ive been driving a micra for a good few years so legacys & jap imports are all new to me so could anyone please help me or give some advice! They're a 2 peice visor set one each side & can anyone recommend a good security system for a 99 B4 cause i dont wanna have to kill them little feckers if they come back!

Where are you located us, japan? etc? its hard to tell which car you have from your post. if you are in the states then you wouldnt have a b4 if you're in japan or elsewhere you shouldnt have two-piece visors? give us more info.

In the UK the Subaru is highly desirable... having a garage is almost the only way to secure them properly, bar rising in-ground barrier poles.

A good alarm is one that code-cycles, has vibration and glass sensors.

No im Irish i bought in England from an importer! Yeah sorry it's a one peice visor for each side! Im just looking for the subaru replacements of them or something that looks the same just to get my baby back to the way she was!

Aparently its the most robbed car here in ireland aswell which i found out after i bought it but ill be dammed if i let any bastard get near it again! What price range or makes do these kind of alarms? Cause to be honest i love cars but im not a petrol head per say so im hoping to learn alot off this site

i used to have visors made by Lund but its in the US and i dont know any UK manufacturers who make them your best bet is to try to find your original ones and finding that manufacturer or if you see a brand name on someone else car (not necessarily subaru) try to look for those brands. unfortunately i dont think its gonna work because most likely they were made in japan and installed somewhere in between jp and uk probably by enthusiast or a dealer. us made ones are four piece two pieces per side jdm are two pieces one per side you have jdm those are almost impossible to find in good condition in the us, due to damage during removal or shipping. gl

My mechanic rang subaru & they have never heard of them & i cant find any on the japanese websites, just ones for impreza's! im just looking for something similar i dont care where in the world ive to order it from cause ive to wait 5 weeks for a steering lock anyway

wow, I just sent my rainguard/ventshade set to someone in Norway a couple of weeks ago. Anyway, I think those are a dealer installed option (ie it may be in the subaru accesories catalog or an aftermarket piece from japan that dealers themselves install on cars). The ones that I know from japan are the one piece deals, some of them stick on, others actually snap into the rain gutter.

If youre desperate for a similar option, the 2 piece rainguards are readily available here in the US. Search for 'ventshades' on ebay and you'll find it.
