I have a 2000 BH with over 227,xxx miles and it is hurting, leaking head gasket, now leaking trans fluid, fourth gear will not stay in, third grinds, and fifth is just funny, and clutch is now slipping. body is really good for those miles. I'm getting at, I want to swap motor and trans from a newer Legacy GT. but other then the wire harness being a little work. what can I use from what car to make the swap "simple".
like CV axles and center drive shaft. I plan on finding a salvage donor car, so mostly everything from both cars are there. also, what about the Si-drive? has anyone moved this to a different platform, and I also would like ideas on the air bags...what ones to I run?
I've looked on many forums and well swapping anything in to a BH is not common...so any help would be great.

EDIT: well finding a LGT in a manual trans is getting to hard, if I want to start something asap, I might just go with a 04-05 WRX swap. being the axles and other items are easy to work with...no DBW and don't have to worry about auto climate or navi.
