I got a job in Alaska for the summer and am trying to get my road trip planned for going up there. Since a great deal of the trip is in Canada. I just have a few questions. What should I expect to pay per liter for 93 on the trip? Also any places I should stop at and check out?

I just graduated college and money is a little tight. So most nights will mostly be spent in my car sleeping. However I do want to get a hotel in Edmonton and check things out because it has always been one of those places I've wanted to stop.

Here is my trip thus far:

http://maps.google.com/maps?f=d&source=s_d&saddr=Elkhorn,+WI&daddr=emo,+on,+ca+to:Saskatoon,+Division+No.+11,+Saskatchewan,+Canada+to:edmonton,+ab,+ca+to:fort+nelson,+bc,+ca+to:Whitehorse,+Yukon,+Yukon+Territory,+Canada+to:Anchorage,+AK&geocode=%3B%3BFfNtGwMdU1ek-Q%3B%3B%3BFUyCngMdAETz9ymBU7yAmERUUTFLNdBk6rc95A%3B&hl=en&mra=pe&mrcr=4,5&sll=52.222391,-119.817128&sspn=24.166297,79.101563&ie=UTF8&ll=52.148659,-106.314697&spn=0.753338,2.471924&z=9&lci=com.panoramio.all,org.wikipedia.en

Any input helps. Thanks

I live 12 miles from canada, yeah you are going to need a passport. Right now expect to pay about 3.50 US a gallon

Few things to check before you head out on the road.

- Change your oil and top off all your fluids. Especially our windshield washer
fluid.
- Inflate proper PSI in tires and check spare tire.
- Bring blankets, pillows, something confortable.
- Trash bags...something to throw your trash in when you're on the road.
- Flash lights, batteries, jackand basic hand tools incase you break down in
the middle of nowhere.
- And some good music!
