car is graet
like someone in 'top gear' polish edition wrote - "to eat the cake and to have the cake"
i was choosing beetwen 2.0 n/a and 2.0 boxer diesel and i do not regret at all
i've driven about 45000 km (about 28000 miles) - in a year and everything is great - the only thing that happened was a light bulb to exchange
dynamic is nice (about 8,5 seconds to 60mph), handling is great (i was even on the race circuit with the instructor and it was awesome), it needs about 7litres to make 100km trip
the only thing that i had to change was audiosystem - the one put into the car in factory just... sucks  maybe in us you gonna have some better speakers

of course - i'll take some pictures and put it here in a few days - now i'm starting 2x24h in work

find myself a crashed one and swap it into my BD legacy

it's not that simple - it goes with change all of electric systems, and a lot of hardware - turbo, injectors and a few different things

Welcome to the forum!!! I'm super jealous of your car and pray for the day that they come over to the states. As we know from James May, your car can get 63 mpg!!!

Are the cat back exhausts (back box) similar to the gasoline version?

I only ask 'cause on my old MK2 VW we used to get the diesel cat backs due to no resonator and a clean fit and sound.

word from my instructors at Subaru of New England say that the Diesel legacy isnt going to happen in the US market yet.

and we should be getting CVT's before they even think of bringing diesels here.

no it isn't
there are two exhaust pipes and i'll make a picture and put it here because the exhausts go down and what we can see is blind end that looks good but works a liitle different (it's related to european law about the exhaust gases)
