so i am running into some difficulty figuring something out...i have a 99 legacy gt and im having a hard time with the suspension thing, when i check on some sites they have the years 95-98 but i have the same BD body style but it says that the springs and sway bars fit 99+ but i was told that the BE suspension is different than the BD so idk what to do i dont wanna buy the springs and then find out they are the wrong ones, idk if its because the model years are different in other countries or what but any help is appreciated

in Japan the generation 2 legacy's BD/BK/BG ran up until 98. Generation 3 legacy's started in 99 in Japan.

North america only released the Gen 3's in 2000.

BD suspension is identical to the GC chassis (93-01 impreza) Although the rear swaybar will not clear the spare tire well, you will need a BD specific swaybar unless you want to bang the chassis in a bit.

BE suspension is "different" in the rear IIRC. Anything 99+ is BE specific.

ok so if im on a site that says the BD up to 98 i can still use those parts right? even tho it says its a year before mine cuz i just dont want to get the wrong parts so thats why i was looking for some clarification

As long as it says BD and you have "BD" in your VIN#.

ok so if im on a site that says the BD up to 98 i can still use those parts right? even tho it says its a year before mine cuz i just dont want to get the wrong parts so thats why i was looking for some clarification
