BE cold air induction thru B4 hood

Well I have a 03 BE with a Baja turbo hood im thinking of making an air box and making it functional. I am looking to get the most power gain as possable as this thing is a dog. anyone tried this would I gain more with a cold air kit (long ram)? Any help appreciated.
