I have no idea of BD struts and BG struts are the same, but I would assume so.

no the bd struts are shorter. the bg (outback) have about 1.25 inch longer struts between the mounts and perch

BG ? Outback btw, BG = wagon. BK = USDM only smooth roof wagon
As far as i know, wagon shocks are the same when it comes to fitting them, so yes, but they may have different shock rates. Spring rates are certainly different between wagon and sedan. Wagon springs in a sedan will lift the rear up, sedan springs in a wagon cause saggy butt.
If the BG you are refering to is indeed an outback, decke48 is right, Outback struts are longer.
