Is it possible to tighten it up a little? mine will adjust it's self over bumps in the road and I can never use the flip lever on it because when you flip it back down the mirror is pointed just about all the way down.

I checked the back but I see nothing for adjusting it?

On the side there is a Torx screw. Tighten it and you're good to go.

in my old BD i had the same problem and when i took it all apart i found out that there is this thing like a gasket around the pivot ball and my was all cracked dealer doesnt sell them separetely, i ened up buying a 15 dollar generic mirror and mounting streight to the glass like most gm cars have never had a problem ever since. or you can locate one in junk yard or from part outs i guess.

A little update home depot had a little tool set with hex wrenches on them for like $8 turns out the size is T15 I think.

It's much better now :) road bumps don't cause it to move downwards anymore :)

One thing you can do is, take it apart and on the ball piece that's attach to the mirror...wrap that with electrical tape and reinstall it. Works for me and it's really stiff now.

Mine has the same problem! im gonna have to take a closer look at it now. Haha my stereo makes mine fall and the road bumps, i would say 90% of the time im looking at the back seat.

I had the same problem and as above I just used the torx to tighten it up. Besides the music and road bumps the one that takes the cake was the clutch releasing. If i slid my foot to the left as I released the clutch, the pedal would snap up and create an immense amount of vibration and push my mirror down by 1cm each clutch release.
