Ok. Its HELLA hot now and my windows won't move. I pulled into my driveway and went to roll up the windows and they twiched for a second and stopped. Later I went out to go eat and my switch doesn't work now. But I was able to roll the rest down with there own buttons. But all a sudden they won't work eather!!! What is going on?!?!?!?

check your master switch in the driver's door.

The "twitch and stop" sounds a lot like a blown fuse - probably the first thing to check, especially if all the windows are now not working.
Unlikely to be ALL the switches that broke - if a switch itself is failing you'll usually get a window that goes one way but not the other (eg. down but not up again).
If it is the fuse though you'll want to find out what caused it to blow otherwise it'll happen again. How hot is it exactly?? Hot enough to melt all your wiring  ??

Otherwise check the connections to the switches in the driver's door - it's possible something could have worked loose or come unstuck if you had a dodgy connection in there.

[edit - beat me to it!]

check your master switch in the driver's door.
I confirmed my 98's Subaru Legacy Outback driver side master switch is defective.
The "auto" button will not allow the window to go up!

How can I access the circuit board to assess contact damage? Impossible to remove the circuit board so far.

Maybe you can fix it - 2000gtb posted a DIY to pull apart your buttons.

Thanks for reply.
No, the basics are similar but the switch buttons re different style. 98' legacy out master switch buttons are near impossible to pry off unless break the plastic.

Hoping someone has done it and can GUARANTEE no damage to switch is pry buttons off with screw driver which I am sure will damage the switch.

Mine is wore out too should attempt to fix mine or just get a new one? Dealer wants $160 I have thought about a junk yard but they will probably be worn out too to some extent.
