BE L to GT headlights swap...

Well I see that my new Gt headlights have a different plug was going to cut and install new plug but wondering if I will need more than that to make this work....LMK if anyone has ran into this issue.... Im sure someone has just didnt find anything in search? Thanks, Jay

You can either cut both harnesses off and splice the wires together, or you can go to your local junkyard, find an 00-04 GT/Outback, clip the harness off it and splice the wiring from your car into it. Either way is fine, but the latter will allow you to plug/unplug the headlights if you need to.

Whichever way you choose, make sure you label the wires hi/low/ground. The thicker one is ground, and you can use a test light to figure out which is high and which one's low.

This was one of the very first things I did to my L. Great upgrade.
