Can anyone help me find this thing, Im pulling a code, and I wanna clean it, Im just not sure which one it is. Ive searched for 2 hours now, and nothing is specific to this engine, its either 99- or wrxs that I keep finding the info for.
On the newer motors I've seen it's on the throttle body. It's gotta be somewhere on the intake, if not on the TB then it is on the manifold somewhere.

Ok, thanks, thats a start. Instead of removing the whole thing, I also see you can spray GM top engine cleaner in the TB to clean it, also see some seafoam threads about it. Can anyone verify those? Reason for all this, I pulled a P0519 Idle control system malfunction-fail-safe today, and sometimes the engine wants to bog down at idle. Also, this is on a 2003 Legacy wagon 5mt sohc.

see where the electric plug goes at the very top of the throttlebody? That's the iacv :) use a flat head screwdriver, the philips tends to strip those things...
Yup the one with the blue sticker is your IACV.

Cool, thanks Jey, I appreciate it. I stopped in and tlked to my friend Jason at the dealer, he walked me through the whole thing, easy-peasy. Along with some 44? injector cleaner ad a new fuel filter, should be good as new. Thanks again.
