So I have a HID kit installed all is fine until about 2 months later my passenger side fuse blew in the engine bay which is a 15A fuse. So replacing it again blew it again I don't have a relay on it as I grounded the ground to the car.

The funny thing is the driver's side is fine but both wont stay on this afternoon I went to change the ballast and now the driver's side blew the fuse but the passenger side is fine :smt017

Sounds like an overload and the closest HID to the source is stealing whatever juice is left instead of distributing it evenly .

Try an external relay and just tap into the headlight signal. There $12 from autozone/parts source.

Any links to building a harness relay? I just need them for the low beams.

I think I got almost everything I need..

12 AWG wires
30A relay
and wire connections
15 Amp fuses in-line fuse holders with 20A mini fuses in them.

don't think you can hotlink on that site..

but nevertheless I got the relay wire harness up and working..
only issue is if you try to flash the headlights without the low beams on the low beam will come on with the high beams.

However if the lows are on then you flash then it works as normal.

Are your day time running lights still installed/connected?
