Google and eBay makes my damn head hurt sometimes. My OEM radiator is dead. Like developed a crack along the left side plastic tower and sprayed all the coolant across the passenger side of the engine. The thing I hit that jacked my stock exhaust probably has something to do with it.
Yeah.. I blame that.

Yes my headgasket is fine. Water pump is fine, hoses are fine. I know that much and I know broken plastic when I see it.

Anyway.. Koyo / Mishimoto. Either way need the part number for my 1998 Legacy wagon with a manual transmission and e25 non turbo.

My car is currently stranded in my parking space until I get this purchased.

EDIT:
Would a GC8 radiator fit my car? I might just get one of those, two of those slim line clip fans, silicon hoses and a shroud.. call it a day.
I'm so pissed right now.

Koyo R1819 53mm Aluminum Racing Radiator 90-94 Legacy Turbo--$317.00

...

GC rads mount differently from the top, there designed to be used with GC rad clips and the GC rad support. The underside mounts should be identical (2 guide pins that sit on top of the lower rad support rubber mounts). The hoses should also be the same as BD but don't quote me.

You can purchase the CXracing GC8 rads off ebay for $150ish but make sure you buy the one with the rad cap. To solve the upper mounting issue you can simple make a shroud and bolt that to your rad support -> radiator.

Good luck

Thanks for the great info. Where are you seeing that Koyo A2177 for that price? I can't find that model number anywhere but on a site called Go-Parts which I've never heard of.

Does the A2177's have plastic tanks or aluminum? (Can't find a picture of that model)

Anyway, thank you.

Talk to Reason. He bought one for his MT that is actually for an AT, but he made it work.

you should be able to use a AT rad as long as you plug the AT cooler lines.

the oem replacements have plastic cap ends. and yes impreza to raditor hoses are different. there a tiny bit shorter. at least on the 1.8 and 2.2

If I used the stock legacy hoses would it make up the length difference?

if you use a impreza radiator you need impreza top radiator hose. on the impreza the spout its moved over about 1 1/4 closer to the center than the legacy. my measurements are of a 1.8 impreza though
