97 Legacy L 4EAT FD?

Pretty certain all the 4EATs are 4.44.

if you want to be sure you could look up your transmition code that is on the plate on you drivers side strut tower and you would then know for sure

Will the transmission code tell me the FD ratio though? Trans code is : TZ102ZACAA

I'm worried the diff i bought on Ebay wont work with the car... i read the FSM and i thought it should be 4.111 but i don't know if I'm reading it wrong or what

Yup, so basically, what i can gather is that a EJ22 4EAT has a FD of 4.111.

On another board they had me worried. I said i picked up a rear diff for a 95-99 Legacy/Impreza 4EAT and they made it sound as if there were several varying combinations and that i probably didnt get the right one.

I thought i was reading the FSM wrong..
