Minutes before placing an order for a new kartboy short shifter for $100 after searching for a used one for months, I happened to check the fs forums on nasioc and what do you know.. a kartboy shifter and leather shift knob all for $20 shipped!

I can't wait to install it. I am so sick of the long throws of my stock shifter.

There's some good deals out there if you really look around. I found a set of Lamco gauge pack for $70. I would've got it but I've already have a set and it cost me over $100 :roll:

I received and installed everything today and man, what a difference. With the new shifter joint and kartboy shift bushings I recently I put in along with the shifter and leather knob, the shifter setup now feels tight and precise. I would even say the setup feels better then my old BMW. All that's left is a new leather shift boot and it will be perfect.

I highly recommend the kartboy shifter setup as a mandatory mod. It completely transforms the car.

nice score indeed. my friend gave me an E-bay knock off of a kartboy (which is identical to his real kart boy coincidentally) and I really like it. It's not that much shorter that the factory short shifter I had before tho. I need to get new bushings next
