QUESTION!!

I'm sure this type of questions have come up before but been that i am new to the site i havent seen it yet. I'm trying to find upgrades for my Legacy. I cant find any. I have a 97 gt wagon. Are other model subarus compatible with my legacy. example: Can a top mount intercooler off of a WRX fit a 97 legacy? or Would a full cat back exhaust off of a 06 legacy gt or WRX fit my 97 legacy? I'm trying to find anything i can to make my legacy one of a kind! The only thing that i have been able to find is a few things on Ebay that are JDM parts. Dont get me wrong i like the idea of JDM parts i just wish i could find stuff that is closer than Japan! lol. Let me know what you know! Enlighten me please!! :?: :eek:

You'll find a lot of good information on this site by browsing each area and doing a lot of reading. We need to know more information about your car in order to answer your questions. Are you from the U.S. or elsewhere? If you're in the U.S., and your GT is stock, then a TMIC from a WRX won't do you any good since your motor is N/A and the TMIC is for turbo motors. The catback from a '06 GT won't fit either.

Like I said, do some reading of the different sections of this website and you'll find a lot of information. You'll also see a lot of examples of what's available for these cars by looking at people's car in the "Member's Rides I" section.

JDM parts are a great option for aesthetics and some functionality.

Stock 97 Legacy gt wagon white, 5spd, US spec. The only JDM parts that i have been finding are whatever is on Ebay! mostly fogs, which i do want to get! Does anybody make a open airfilter that takes the place of where a TMIC would be.. I just dont like the big ugly air box and i would like to put my scoop to use!

You'd have to adapt a gravelsport intake to do this, and it's not really ideal because you have move the MAF sensor. It's been discussed and tried before, check some of the threads.

There's plenty of modding to be had with a little creativity and some sweat.
