Feeler for DIY

i had to rebuild my tranny(some of you say in my members rides). i was wondering if any of you guy(gals) would want a DIY on how to teardown and rebuild your tranny or just change front and center diffs?

sure. what you doing? syncro's? bearings? it wont hurt to do it. im sure there wont be many people rebuilding there trannys

It would be great to build up more knowledge for the community. It really helps people out a lot when then find a DIY guide to a project.

That would be cool - I was under the impression it required lots of precise measurement based on what I see in the FSM.

i just did this in power transmission class at work, it's fun but can be pretty frustrating depending on the condition of the tranny. I'd say post the DIY if it's not too hard, though i doubt too many people would be up for the challenge, at least with the subaru tranny there aren't as many press-fits as an american FWD transaxle, that can be a real bitch.
