Hello, I have a 95 BD legacy
i know the factory bulbs are size 158 and 74 for the gauge cluster
i was thinking of ordering LEDs from superbrightleds.com to replace them (i have a bulb out, its one of the smaller ones)
i was wondering if anyone knows how many of each i need to order?
i want to replace the cluster ones, HVAC, the cruise and defroster buttons, ash tray and glove box one.

Hey welcome!

I did my HVAC uhmm for superbrightleds.com you need to order the NEO bulbs with the flat tops.. if you can't find it I can search it for you..

you know I have yet to do my gauge cluster despite taking the screws out for the bezel almost a month ago.. make sure you check the DIY write up here about it.. you have to sand the green off the back of the gauges.

on Monday I changed my glove box to a white LED that I had extra.

uhmmm the defroster button depending on the color you may need to sand or may not. I don't think you need to however.

i did this with some led's that xxgtbspecxx agave me when we swapped hood's DO NOT DO BLUE i would get eye strain even having the lights on in the daytime from the gauge cluster, it looked great but god it ruined my night driving for anything over ~7 mins

and for the tiny bulbs you have to use the same led's as what goes in the bigger sockets and trim down the base to fit all in all a big pita

sry don't remember how many bulbs there were

Thanks for the input. I have alread done a recolor of my gauges.

This is with the bulbs untouched. the 6 in the tach is being toned down by 3 layers of masking tape.
would LED lighting even out the color?

it didn't even out the color for me but it might've been the LED's i was using.

edit blue on the lenses is ok bc your not getting a really harsh light from behind them its the blue leds that kill yeah, i have "Blue" illiumation and white face gauges

there are not as many bulbs as you would think, i found that there were only three bulbs in my HVAC though im not certain about 95 legacy.

by the way im thinking about doing blue bulbs its seems theres alot of pros and cons whats the verdict
