Hey there legacy bros....I have a custom performance gauge set up in my BG5, I have a top dash mount gauge pod like for the Spec c STI, problem is that my oil pressure gauge is acting funny or sometimes it doesn't work at all...could it be the sender unit?? Or the gauge itself is messed or my grounds??? And my voltimeter seems to be stuck...thanks
Get a multimeter up to it and you can figure out what's going on. Oil pressure should send about a 4-5V signal, if it's not there is a problem with the sender or the wiring. Same with the voltmeter - what is it stuck at? That one's easy, it should be getting a little over 12V.

You tapped into the location where the factory sender was didn't you? Under the alternator?

There's another location thats free on the passenger side rear of the block, topside.

Yes I did that's where my oil pressure sender was located, now I had to remove it so that I fit the temp sensor. Will. I get tthe correct readings if I fit it in the other location you have told me? Can anyone post a picture?
