The other night i was spraying over that wood trim crap to a (Krylon Fusion Plastic Spraypaint) flat black. When i was done it looked amazing though when i turned on my car i noticed that the window in the dash that displays your odometer (mileage & trip a/b) wasnt lit anymore  . What happened? The only thing i can think of is removing the cruise control button may have done something though im not certain.
Any help would be much appreciated; thanks

there could be some connection between the cruise control button and the dash light. simply plug the button back in and see if it works

Thats odd...I just did the same thing, cept with plastidip paint. Maybe just unpluggings and plugging the gauge cluster will make it work again...or the lights died coincidentally.

yeah i beginning to think that it died coincidentally as well; though if i must change the bulbs im most likely going to change all of them i just have to find bulbs that can fit and are blue i hate the puke green color

This same thing happened on my 98 legacy! Trying to install LED strip behind the gauges unplugged the defrost, cruise, and fog light switches to pull of the cover. Pulled out the cluster and looked at the bulbs to see how i could install them... Didn't work haha so when i put everything back together, the light behind my temp gauge didn't work. I tore it apart again to see what the problem was, switched bulbs to see if it was a bulb, but it was still the same bulb that didn't work...
