Anyone ever moved their battery to their trunk. MAN is it a pain in the ass. It cost me $221 in parts and took me 6 hours to do. Have 2 awg. now running from my trunk to the engine area. All my electrical is plugged into a junctions box now where the battery use to be. Pic will be up shortly. Sorry i only have finished pics as i forgot to take during the install.

Probably a little more room in the engine bay, but mainly done to help (somewhat) with weight distribution. Battery isn't a light object, so if its transfered to the trunk, then the percentages start working in a more favorable ratio.
But, seeing that I haven't actually done it, nor will I exert the effort or cash for it, I'm kind of at odds as to whether its worth the effort and cash to move it, when you're adding some pretty good size power cables and a considerable length of it (~15 ft of it). That adds weight.
If you feel the need, go for it.
I see it as beneficial if you need storage room in the engine bay ( ) or on a more serious note, if you are racing the car and have stripped it down already and moving the battery will help your handling, plus the addition of wires will be offset by a number of items that you've lightened or deleted.

I'm about to have mine moved to the boot(Trunk?). It has to make way for the Greddy oil catch can, and also when I fitted the front mount intercooler I lost my washer bottle so I have to fit another 1 but couldn't as there was no room

not to nitpick but maybe you should get an enclosure box for added safety.

Yeah i will get it inclosed i just havent had time to really do much of anything to the car. I want to custom a carpeted closure around it to make it look like part of the trunk.
I have another job in promotions so after my full time job i am extremely busy doing that.
Thanks for the links :D
