Water Leak!!!

The other night i was driving to a concert in the pouring rain and as i entered the parking lot water began to drip out of my map-light area, the lights are fine and the sunroof control is still fine. I unscrewed the map-light thing to see if i can seal any leak up but it looks that i may have to take my headliner off which i really want to avoid...is there anyway to seal this leak without ripping my ceiling apart?? Any comments would be much appreciated :smile:

Sunroof drains are probably clogged. Open the sunroof glass all the way and pour some water into the sides of the trays. Water should be coming out near the tires. If not, you'll have to snake something down the tubes or take the headliner out to fix the problem.

Blow compressed air into the drains and see if that clears the blockage.

I had this problem during the winter months except my sunroof drain pipe run off was disconnected and so the water would just leak into the headliner. What I did was I unbolt the sun visor, handles and whatever else in the way to get the headliner down. I then pulled down the headliner and made sure the drain pipe is connected to the runoff if not connect them or if that does not solve the problem then the drain pipes are just clogged. Use a metal hangers and straighten it out and push it down as far as you can to get the leaves and whatnot out or use compressed air as advise above. Good luck.

Okay i havent been able to get a hold of an air compressor my friends is all messed up would a regular key board clean blower thing work?
