will these rims fit?

So I am on the hunt for a cheap set of rims to run when I rally cross.
My understanding is I need 5X100.

Well a lot of GM cars happen to be that bolt pattern. Offset is not a huge concern as long as they don't stick out TOOO Much.

Will these from a grand am work?

But they are all FWD cars with too low an offset. It will put extra stress on your wheel bearings. No other make has the high offset that Subaru has as far as I know.

well subaru's are in the 50's for offset, correct?

The GM FWD cars are in the 40's if I am not mistaken.
Thaty shouldn't really make too much of a difference, infact, it might look really nice.

If it will fit, and clear the fenders, go for it. It may accelerate wheel bearing wear, but not much...
Honestly, everyone freaks out about wheel bearings going bad, but unless you have some verrrry sticky tires (R-comps) and race it, I wouldn't worry about it. Wheel bearings are a wear item on a car. They go bad. They also are not that hard to replace. Every advance auto/dealership can get them, and anyone with a press can put them in. Dont get freaked out because X person's friend's Friend ran a +35 offset and wore out his bearings... he didnt tell you that it has 150,000 miles on it, and they were prolly going bad before the wheels...

if its a low 40's offset it could probably fit without rubbing, high 30's, there's a good chance you'll rub in the rear, even with stock sized tires. You'd probably be better off to roll the rear fenders a little just to be sure either way. Also check the hub bore diameter. You use a 56.1mm , not sure about the J bodies. I know some of the VW wheels will also fit, they have a 57.1mm bore and use roughly the same offset at that wheel.

i wouldnt worry about the wheel bearings.....its a subaru, the wheel bearings are going to go eventually lol

pre-98 grand am's are 5x100 with 57.1mm center bores, as long as there not 99+ they will bolt on.. if you looking for rally cross wheels i would look at stock subaru 15" steelies

ya, these I beleive are form a mid 90's grand am.

I am looking for stock 15" subaru rims, but they are always selling for more than I want to spend.
I want to avoid steelies if possible.

So accordign to the guy they came off an 98 Grand am and have a 55mm hub.
Im gonna double check that measurement.

If you are doing some hardcore off-roading with alloys, it won't be long before a rock smashes a chunk of the rim off. I would get a couple spares. JMHO

It will fit but it can put extra load on your wheel ball bearings.
