i need to get th eback of my car up a little to prevent rubbing with my bigger tires and was reading about the Parnoid Spacers. In the topic they started talking about having get get new studs? i thought the spacers just on the top of the strut how does it have to do with the studs?? i dnt wna buy them then have to change my studs since i justhad to replace all 20 of em. those are totally different studs, they are not in the hub but in the tophats.

I dunno Sam, I recently "modified" my XB's spacers and placed them in there. It was a tight fit, but I got it to sit flush.

But there's a catch:

I never measured the Scion's plate, but it appears to be 1/2". So until I get the exact size, this is more or less a hypothesis. I try to find them (tossed them aside at the shop last week) to take pics and measure them.

if your runnigh 1/2 inch spacers you need longer studs, you can bearly get away with stock studs with 3/8 inch spacers

Ok. I do have WRX tophats in the rear.

However, when I slotted the XB ones, I tried them on my old suspension (BK Tophats) to get the bolt pattern to fit.

BTW, I measured them today and they where only 1/4". I haven't had the Legacy in a few days, so I'm still waiting on checking my stud length before posting if I'd go with a 1/4" or the 1/2".

I have some thick 1/2" paranoid spacers on my stock Legacy tophats, with enough room sticking out to secure them down.
However, I ordered the wrong bolt pattern, but it was nothing Mr. Dremel couldn't fix. :twisted:
