OEM GT muffler any different from OEM L/Brighton muffler?

sorry if this has been covered, but 30 minutes of searching didn't bring up the answer i wanted. just wondering if the OEM muffler on the '95-'99 2.5 GT (well, actually this one would be from a '97 2.5 GT specifically) is any different from the ORM muffler on the '95-'99 L/Brighton models? i took a good long look at the exterior of both, and they look pretty much the same to me on the outside (aside from different exhaust tips), but i wanted to know about them internally. better flow? same?

and what about the OEM muffler from the BG Outbacks? same thing? different? is either worth my time and $30 to replace the stock exhaust on my '95 Brighton, or is it better for me to just go with an aftermarket or even an SPT set up?

I believe it's just a different tip.

I would just go with a take off WRX/STi axle back and have it modded to fit.

i figured that was it. i'm just going to go with a custom cat back on this one, i already have an STi cat back on the white car, so i want the red car to have something that looks a little different. actually though, i guess i could just change the tip...
