Short of yanking the engine out, is there anything that I can use in mine that would be an upgrade?

I already have GT/outback calipers and rear sway bar as well as a Legacy Skidplate.

Anything else? the car was hit, HARD in the rear.

The transmission is going to be stronger than yours, if it's a 5MT, and if it is, you'd need the rear differential also. The Turbo Legacy models were 3.90 final drive, which means that if you did swap in the engine, it wouldn't be as quick as with your stock transmission, but it would have improved fuel economy.

The rear swaybar is 18mm, and desirable. I think the front should also be an upgrade. See if the stereo has an aux input, as the guys here and on LC like those. The hoods are also wanted/needed.

Well I am not planning on swapping engines, I was looking for more like bolt on imporvements such as a sway bar(which I have). I will try and look into the front sway bar difference, however I think I read the difference is only 1mm. Hardly worth it.

1mm is a big diff when you put it on. not trying to hijack, but if your in canada with a canadian legacy turbo that your goind to part out. i would like first dibs on the interior peices. if this is ok pls let me know.

I don't have it. Its in a yard near by.

Do the front seats just bolt in? ( I don't remember if they were in good shape)

not the seats. i was wondering about the front seatbelts, a pillar molding, and headliner. yes the seats will bolt up to most subaru's.
