Windshield wipers?

Need to know for a 98 BD LGT:

1. Cheapest blades to get
2. Best blades to get
3. Bang for the buck purchase
4. How hard CAN it be to replace them myself?

1. Walmart?
2. Bosch Excel+
3. Bosch Excel+, I tried the fancier Bosch once and they wore out a lot quicker

4. Takes 30seconds. You don't need the extra hardware they put in the packaging. Just unclip the old one, clip the new one on.

3. personal ^, ive never had blade last more than a month before they started to streak, with the ^ ive gone two years with the same rubbers (cheap anco in the winter, that last a week or two) and there still no steaking at all, and can always get replacement inserts, only down side is the cost $27 a blade, and $9 each for replacement inserts,
i dont run my wipers hard either, only click the stock if nessary, maybe meduim in hard rain
4. not hard, raise the wiper arm all the way up, push in the clip, pull the wiper off, put the new one on, make sure it clicks on. lower the wiper arm, dont need to change the clips on the wipers, they come with the correct ones on the wipers

^^ *Go with the Bosch ones they are good wipers and don't smear.

I dropped the coin for the RainX wipers and have been very happy with them.
