I was about to buy some hubs for the front and rear from an wrx, but then a guy on nasioc said that any other model or year, a non 95-99 legacy, might be different. I thought that you could use any subaru impreza and legacy with 5x100 bolt pattern with your car without problems. Since I am limited on time for fixing up my car, I want to solve as much troubleshooting ahead of time as possible.
Thanks

IIRC the hub will bolt on no problem its just the axles that cause problems when bolting up to the diff. But in your case your not switching axles just the hubs.

Why are you putting WRX hubs on anyways? Can you not source legacy ones for cheaper?

I thought that wrx hubs were stronger than legacy. But they're not, are they?

hubs, axle splines, and bearings are all the same between the two. what differs is the abs tone ring. Older imprezas didn't have as good of rear bearings but they were still interchangeable. STis are different and that stuff does not interchange, though.
