does anyone know if they make spoilers for the rear window for my 99 sedan? i see them on sti's and such and was wondering if they would work on mine

Drilling holes into the rear part of the roof. measure and shorten/extend the length of the spoiler piece. Some mock ups have to be made in order to fit perfectly. It's not a direct bolt on piece.

You wouldn't have to do that. You could use aircraft grade industrial glue to hold things on. I had that done with my WRX spoiler on my Impreza hatch - the small wing at the top. Been on there for 7 years now, plenty of high speed runs and no worries.

It really depends on the size and weight of the item though. That small wing ^^ only weighed a few lbs.

Yes.

But, your spoiler piece is a complete flat piece that holds down in the windshield(?)

The Sti piece only has 2 small flat plastic pieces, one on each side. And i would assume it would be very flimsy if not properly secure down. So imagine the turbulence hitting on it, it'll knock it right off.

yes thats the one i was talking about ^^^^ i just was wondering if anyoine knows the difference in length between the wrx window and a BD rear window, cuz if the differnce is only like an inch or so i cant imagine it being that much of a hassle(correct me if im wrong)

You're just going to have to take the initiative and do it. I haven't seen those spoiler on a 2nd gen yet.

And remember, the roof line between the Impreza and the Legacy is slightly different.
