that would be the greddy lip. it is made for the jdm kouki front bumper. I cut the lip off of my stock gt bumper and opoxyed the greddy lip to it.

how did you get your side markers to work as both parking lights and as blinkers?

stirally8
06-17-2009, 09:26 PM
It's the way you wire them. Connect the positive of the side marker to the positive that is on with the parking lights. Then connect the ground of the side marker to the wire that is positive when the turn signals are on.(this wire will show positive on and off) When the turn signals are off the wire works as a ground. When the turn signal is on the ground will flash a positive pulse causing the side markers to flash. The regular turn signals and the side markers will flash in an alternating pattern. One will be on, then when it goes off the other will be on.

stirally8
06-17-2009, 10:11 PM
I placed it on the pass side a pillar. And no I haven't had to use it. It's better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it. LOL...

responded to pm!

Know of any good junk yards around here where i might find a LGT bumper and hood (preferably in silver) ?

Where'd ya get the tails at?

stirally8

there is a junkyard close by that has alot of subarus. the guy that runs it is kind of an a$$. I can check with a friend of mine to see if the bumper on the parts car he has is any good. I know the hood is destroyed(if it wasn't it would be on my car cause it's carbon fiber. he does have a rear lip and if he still has the side skirt I have the other one.

I bought the tails from andivic(an sli member)

If I had the money to get a carbon fiber hood I would sell you mine.

Please do. I would much appreciate it. Does the parts car still have its rear seats? Im after the seats with the center arm rest.

the bumper is also destroyed. the seats are all in my car. the seats out of mine where not in the greatest condition and where leather. he may still have them. I can also get you the oem side skirts and oem rear lip if interested.

I have gotten several requests of where I got the greddy lip. I purshaced it from Conneticut Import performance(203-783-1422). I was referred to them directly from greddy. I payed $331 for it shipped. the part # for it is 17060012.

Wow that car is looking very good, thats how I would make a Legacy sedan look on the outside if I had once. Where did you get the CF interior trim? I like the front lip as well, not for my car but for a lowered street driven Legacy it is nice. Looks better than the snowplow Impreza Greddy lip. Your's could use some paint though.
Thanks for the quick writeup about how to wire in the sidemarkers. I'll use your advice when I get around to buying some.

Is that two manual pedal covers on your auto brake pedal :smt075

stirally8
07-22-2009, 09:58 AM
LOL yes that is manual pedals. I plan on doing a manual swap and I have had the pedals laying around for ever so I put them on when I got bored.

the chrome rims are foose wheels that go on the porsche 911 that we are doing alot of work to.
