Hi
I've searched a few forums for info on this but can't seem to find any...
I'm surprised because I'd expect this subject to have been talked about alot...
So I was wondering what differences there are between the 2000-2004 BE legacy suspension and the 2005+ BL suspension.
Are they compatible with or without adapted top hats?
Thanks
The top hats are different as well as the length of the shocks/struts are different.

Anyone able to comment on the spring differences?
Ive bought a set of Tein Springs for a BP and need to fit them to my BH

BP/BL Bilstein springs had different shaped tops to the BH/BE Bilsteins. They will not fit unless you use the BP/BL top hats.
The rear springs are a direct swap however

is it top hats or top spring perches that are needed for front springs or does BL/BP top hats have perches built in? thanks for the info on the rear

Im pretty sure you could get away with just changing the perches and re-using the BH/BE top hats. I havnt tried tho. At the time i just put the BH springs back in and went for a cry
