Thats what I have! Your cruise control will need to be relocated. I have my TMIC attached to a JDM EJ20G intake manifold though, but the throttle body location should be identical. The cruise can be re-routed to the passenger side fender wall. See photo for a view. The cruise is the wire that drapes from the throttle over to the passenger fender.

I'm running the wrx brackets and a jdm hood thing that directs the air. On my ej205 swapped 98 and didn't have to reloacte the cruise the cable just goes under the intercooler for me.

Yes, WRX TMIC fit under my hood fine. I have it on an EJ25 intake manifold so maybe the angle is different - it clears the cruise control unit. However the problem I have is that the BOV sits really close to the throttle linkage - so we had to ditch the second cruise control linkage.

I don't miss the cruise control all that much I guess.

ok cool. im not to worried about the cruise so it dont matter. also my hood is non-scoop so i was debating gettin an LGT hood or just getn a WRX Scoop and mount it to. I think the WRX scoop looks bettr n wood give more air to the I/C but is it worth doing all the work?

legacy vs. wrx scoop has acuttaly very little differerance in flow, its designed very well. ARC did testing and the stock legacy scoop supported to 330 whp, and there insert brought it up to 440whp

Weird, I couldn't get my WRX TMIC to fit at all. The clutch fluid reservoir got in the way of the y pipe and the throttle body is too close. I had to go with a Forester XT intercooler instead because it is longer and skinnier. It still doesn't fit perfectly.

Jey you need to do like how mine is and move the cruise over the passenger fender wall.

Ah, I have a cable clutch so that's why I didn't have that issue.

That's not my issue - the bracket that the cruise cable connects to on the throttle body literally is in the same place where my BOV is.

It looks like gc8 has his tmic tilted more towards the passenger side, while yours looks to be tilted more towards the driver's...that maybe why his has more room for the linkage than yours...

I don't have any of those coolant lines or whatever that run along the bottom of the IC either.

Those are vaccuum hoses and the metal lines for them are part of the WRX IC - does yours not have them??

well those are just the crankcase vent lines, you can unbolt those pipes from the IC and just run straight rubber lines. Sometimes the TMIC is not sold with them...

Yeah my crankcase vent setup is totally different but maybe I should switch to that stock setup so I can install an A/O separator. If my suspicions are correct I get a LOT of blowby.

do you see a lot of oil in your cc vent tubes? Don't forget your pcv valve too.

Also, just to throw this out there, the 06/07 TMIC is smaller, shaped a little better to stuff into the compartment, so relocating some parts is not as necessary as it was previous years.
