Induction Kit BE/BH

Where can i find a induction kit for my 2.5 BE?
I want to remove the huge airbox and clean up the engine bay, loose some weight and get a hp or two out of it.
Also will a lightened pulley kit have any effect on response/power?

I have a kit from cosmoracing.com not expensive, but if you get it don't throw away you intake pieces, I'd be interested in getting them off you, that is if you weren't so far away, but someone may want them.

I'm not throwing anything away, except for broken parts.
Is it the Cai or the short ram you have? Any pictures of it installed?

Edit: Found it, short ram. Looks ok. That's the thing i have been looking for. but i could not remember the name of the website.

Technically, but in my opinion is best to optimize the stock system with straighter metal pipe, which is what I want to do, but I don't have the original pieces anymore.

Honestly to say which one is better is debatable but, I'd like to do it because it should be more quiet.

The lightweight crank pulley does have a minor effect on response and rev time. It is fairly noticeable. A good mod in my opinion.

+1, the better mod if you can afford it is getting the ACT streetlite flywheel, which has an even more profound effect on revving speed.

Will be a while until the next time i take the transmission/engine out of the car. But when i do im getting Mobeck Stage 1 kit for it.
It contains OBX Equal Headers, 261/249degree inverted radius billet camshafts and 11.3-1 CR Forged Pistons.
The kit alone will get it up to 148Whp.
Lighter flywheel and stronger clutch is on my shoppinglist, i dont really trust the french valeo clutch i have now.

The crankpulley and the intake are cheap to do so i might just do that next month and start saving for the clutch, flywheel and the mobeck kit.

the only thing I would consider is that a lw pulley and flywheel together can sometimes throw a misfire code, so if youre considering a flywheel maybe you should hold off on the pulley until you get flywheel installed to see if the fw alone is good enough for your needs...

I have that Cosmo Racing SRI in blue. Not bad. The filter they give you is crap so I chucked it and put on a K&N universal cone. Any will do as long as you get one with a 3 inch inner diameter on the mount collar.

Had it for a few thousand miles now, no problems with performance - no CELs (at least relating to that). The rubber/silicon couplers are still in good shape.
They give you the SRI pipe that has the correct bungs for the engine air hoses, two silicon couplers, one for the throttle body to SRI and SRI to MAF collar and a couple of extra large hose clamps.

So far so good. Any horsepower gains I've yet to see because my car was not functional when I got it and I put the SRI on while I was rebuilding the car so I never got a baseline performance idea.
I do know things are louder under the hood with the SRI, that is without a doubt.

Throw on a good muffler and decent header and you're in business with that SRI.

I know the the extra sound you get, i already have it. Modified the OEM intake by removing the huge box and the pipe going down by the ABS central. I cut the pipes off, and started to look for pieces that would fit the 3 holes i would have after removing the 3 boxes. First try, perfect fit. got my box of general and that work perfect.

I did all this the day we changed the clutch, i also got a Green Cotton air filter which gets it up to around standard power output again. (The original filter was from 01)

That's basically how mine is set up, except i didn't replace the pipe. I just removed 3 silencers and plugged all the holes.
But I'm going for a aftermarket/homemade CAI with K&N cone filter. To remove the huge air filter box.
